The Coordination Platform of the Register of Damage for Ukraine and civil society organisations aims to establish partnerships between the Register and organisations that assist claimants in submitting their claims to the Register.

The Register’s work is based on a victim-centred approach. CSOs working with individuals and communities affected by the war play a crucial role in supporting claimants on their path to justice and compensation.

A key aspect of the Platform is the coordination of the work of the Register and civil society organisations:

  • Сommunication opportunities: A space for civil society and international organisations to meet, exchange experience and information that facilitate support for claimants’ needs.

  • Knowledge sharing and awareness raising: Access to information materials developed by the Register.

  • Capacity building: Opportunity for representatives of organisations to attend introductory and training events developed and conducted by the Register.

Information for civil society organisations:
To join the Coordination Platform:

  1. Fill out a questionnaire and provide information about your organisation and its areas of work.

  2. Fill out the registration form and designate the focal point responsible for interacting with the Platform on behalf of your organisation.

Please note that to have your organisation included in the Coordination Platform, you are required to complete both questionnaires.

Within two weeks after the submission of your information, representatives of the Register will send you confirmation of your organisation’s inclusion in the Coordination Platform.

All designated contact persons are added to a mailing list used for distribution of general information, updates, and invitations to Platform/Register events. Where necessary, or at your organisation’s request, bilateral or multilateral communication will be conducted with contact persons.

Please note: if you provide information only about the focal point responsible for interaction with the Platform (without filling in the questionnaire about your organisation and its areas of work), your organisation will not be included in the Platform.

The Register reserves the right to clarify the information provided using open sources, including the status of your institution as a civil society organisation, areas of activity, and adherence to the principle of providing services or assistance relevant to the Register and free of charge for recipients.
